RIPPLE EFFECT SPOTLIGHT REPORT

Notice those ripples spreading outward in our logo?  PFT has very positive results with matching volunteers and new donors for many of the area nonprofits as result of their field trips.

For example, Mesa Veterinary Hospital in Denver collected gifts for the women and children at House of Hope over the holidays.  During the field trip to deliver gifts and to learn about the shelter, they also learned that many women do not leave abusive homes because they are fearful about what will happen to their pets. Animal abuse is very common in homes where there is domestic violence.  Dr. Horst of Mesa offered to house animals for families staying at House of Hope...free of charge.  Since December, they have taken care of three pets and plan to continue this relationship with House of Hope.

We can't thank Mesa Veterinary Hospital enough for this kindness...and for being our Ripple Effect Spotlight Report for April.
